Decorative Mouldings Feature in New Homes

A home being built in Doncaster with a French provincial influence is being elegantly finished with decorative mouldings supplied and installed by the Finishing Touch. Fine decoration is achieved with the addition of 14.5 metres of dental moulding , model # P6D320, size 330mm x 270mm, each dental is sized 90mm x 90 mm x 40 mm with a gap of 90mm between each one. Further decorative features are 43 metres of stringer, model # P29, size 155mm x 65mm, 138 metres of window architrave, model # W1070, size 70mm x 35mm, 25 metres of window sill, model #WS5R2, size 135mm x 90mm and 24 metres of another window sill moulding, model # WSR1, size 140mm x 210mm.

A Post-modern  house in Point Cook was supplied with 12 metres of parapet moulding, model # P8300, size 300mm x 325mm, 67 metres of parapet moulding, model # P8250, size 250mm x 195mm, 82 metres of parapet  moulding, model # P8200, size 200mm x 155mm, 108 metres of flatband, model # DGB1003, size 100mm x 30mm and 12 metres of stringer , model # S1R4, size 90mm x 70mm. More decorative features were 60 metres of window sill, model # WS5, size 130mm x 70mm,  67 metres of quoining panel, model # Q300, size 320mm x 30mm , and 18 x ballisters, 410mm in height.

A large, 55 square Post-modern home in Surrey Hills was finished with 52 metres of parapet moulding, model # P4240, size 240mm x 225mm, 27 metres of parapet moulding, model # P4200,  size 200mm x 195mm, 32 metres of Stringer, model # S6R2, size 55mm x 27mm,  66 metres of window architrave,  model # W1100, size 100mm x 45mm and 13 metres of window sill , model # WS5R2, size 135mm x 90mm.

A Glen Waverley home in the Post-modern style is set apart with the addition of 32 metres of parapet moulding, model # P7270, size 270mm x 145mm, 26 metres of stringer, model # S60, size 60mm x 45mm, 61 metres of window architrave, model # W22, size 100mm x 30mm, 14 metres of window sill, model # WSR1, size 135mmx 185mm and 27 metres of quoining panel, model # Q600, size 630mm x 30mm. The streetscape is finely finished with 7 Victorian, pier caps, size 490mm x 490mm.

Work Back In Full Swing at The Finishing Touch

With business in full swing after the holiday break the Finishing Touch are busy working on several projects, including a two storey, fifty square, post-modern home at 28 Bowen Street East Malvern. They are busily preparing French provincial decorative mouldings, which are currently in production.

Once manufactured, large French provincial parapet mouldings, measuring 240mm x 220mm, will be installed on the upper level of the house, whilst matching smaller French provincial parapet mouldings, measuring 150mm x 160mm, will be placed on the lower storey of the house. Stringer mouldings, made to complement the lower parapet, measure 90mm x 70mm, and all the windows on the house will boast French provincial window architraves with matching sills.

Another project underway is for another post-modern, two storey, fifty square home, this time situated at 131 Watsons Road, Glen Waverley. The Finishing Touch are currently preparing their quality, lightweight, decorative mouldings. Currently under production is a detailed, large parapet moulding with dentals, measuring 300mm x 295mm. There will also be a triangular, gable placed below the large parapet and a smaller parapet is being manufactured, measuring 220mm x 220mm, to fit the upper part of the triangle abutting from the gable. Window architraves and sills are in production for three windows as well as stringers, measuring 90mm x 70mm, to complement the parapets. A smaller stringer will also be produced, which will be a picture frame shape, used to decorate the balcony area.

All window architraves and window sills will be provided by The Finishing Touch for a two storey, fifty square, post-modern house at 1117 Lakeside Drive, Berwick.
