Features and decorative finishes to the house build

A two storey, fifty square house in Canterbury, is being built in the French provincial style. The Finishing Touch supplied, high quality, lightweight decorative mouldings, adding glamour to the exterior. Architectural mouldings supplied for the first floor included 89 metres of eave moulding, model # P6D320, sized at 330mm x 270mm, 482 corbels, sized 90mm x 90mm x 40mm square dentils and 86 metres of stringer, model # S1R4, sized 90mm x 70mm. An eye catching architectural feature was achieved with the addition of 9.6 metres of large parapet mouldings as balcony door surround, sized at 220mm x 115mm, model # P7220. Windows were finished with 19 metres of window architrave, model # W1100, sized 100mm x 45mm and six metres of window sills, model # WS15, sized at 130mm x 65mm.

Creating definition between the ground and first floor the builder used 67 metres of eave moulding, model # P6D320 sized at 330mm x 270mm. 352 corbels, sized 90mm x 90mm x 40mm square dentils decorate the ground floor exterior with 77 metres of stringer, model # S1R4, sized 90mm x 70mm. Windows boast a decorative finish with 38 metres of window architrave, model # W1100, 100mm x 45mm and nine metres of window sills, model # WS15, sized at 130mm x 65mm. The entrance to the building is eye catching with two large round, plain columns 350mm in diameter with Corinthian capitals and 12 metres of large parapet moulding, model # P7220, sized at 220mm x 115mm, featured as an architrave around the main entrance doorway.  The DAP Touch’n’Seal adhesive and sealant were also supplied for application of the decorative mouldings.

A Post-modern, three storey house in Glen Waverley was supplied with customised parapet mouldings based on the Finishing Touch model # M23 parapet moulding. 46 metres of parapet, custom sized to 265mm x 80mm features on the second floor, with 66 metres of parapet M23, custom sized at 265mm x 45mm on the first floor and 63 metres of the same sized parapet on the ground floor.

Interest in the application of the DAP Touch’n’Seal products has grown and we are now regularly shipping the product around Australia. Architectural Mouldings for North Balwyn and Pier Caps

The Finishing Touch has had an order for a property in North Balwyn in development for several months and the decorative mouldings have just been shipped to the site for installation this week for the first floor. This French provincial, fifty square home will now be finished with 79 metres of eave mouldings, model # PE8200, sized 195mm x 155mm, 91 metres of parapet mouldings, model # P8250, sized at 250mm x 195mm, 38 metres of quoining panels Q300, sized at 320mm x 30mm. Windows will be decorated with 31 metres of window architrave, model # W1100, sized at 100mm x 45mm, 6 metres of window sills, model # WS15, sized at 130mm x 65mm, as well as 5 keystones, model # K155. DAP Touch n Seal adhesive and sealant were also supplied for application.

Decorative mouldings for the ground floor will be supplied next week. They include 86 metres of  stringer, model # P8120, sized at 120mm x 90mm, 60 metres of quoining, model # Q300, sized at 320mm x 30mm, 36 metres of window architraves, model # W1100, sized at 100mm x 45mm, 9 metres of window sill, model # WS15, sized at 130mm x 65mm and 6 keystones, model # K155.

The Finishing Touch is often asked to supply pier caps for fencing, which make a handsome finish to the property and enhance the streetscape. Recently two builders have ordered them. A build in Yarrawonga are being supplied with twenty four French style Pier caps – twenty one sized at 490mm x 490mm, two at 370mm x 370mm and one at 490mm x 370mm. Another build in North Balwyn are being supplied with nine French small pier caps custom sized at 535mm x 535mm.

 

French Provincial Home Features Corbels

 

A French provincial, fifty five square residence in Canterbury is being finished with architectural, decorative mouldings from the Finishing Touch. These quality, light weight decorative mouldinga will ensure an eye catching façade. 89 metres of eave moulding with corbels, model # P6D320, sized 330mm x 270mm on the first floor creates a more decorative look than is usual with the French provincial style. The corbel is sized at 90mm x 90mm x 40mm (depth) in a square block. More decorative features are achieved with 87 metres of stringer moulding, model # S1R4, sized at 90mm x70mm. 19 metres of window architrave, model # W1100, sized at 100mm x 45mm decorate the windows and a large feature surround to the balcony window is created with 9.6 metres of parapet mould, model # P7220, sized at 220mm x 115mm. Windows are finished with 6 metres of window sill, model # WS15, sized at 130mm x 65mm.

 

The ground floor is elegantly finished with 67 metres of parapet moulding with corbels, model # P6D320, sized 330mm x 270mm and 77 metres of stringer, model # S1R4, 90mm x70mm. Windows are decorated with 38 metres of window architrave W1100, 100mm x 45mm and nine metres of  window sill WS15, sized at 130mm x 65mm. The front entrance features 12 metres of parapet mould surrounding the entrance, model # P7220, sized at 220mm x 115mm and two tapered columns sized 350mm at the base and 290mm at the top, with a Corinthian capital.

 

Currently under development a post-modern, three storey, seventy square home in Glen Waverley will require a custom sized decorative moulding. The second floor will be finished with 46 metres of large parapet moulding, model # M23, sized 265mm x 120mm.  On the first floor 69 metres of the customised parapet moulding, M23A, sized 265mm x 90mm will be needed with another 81 metres of the same customised moulding on the ground floor.
