Decorative Mouldings Add A Stylish Finish

The Finishing Touch have been busy completing projects before Christmas. They recently finished a project on 16th December to install decorative mouldings on a two storey French Provincial home of fifty squares in Favisham Court, Canterbury. Surrounding the full perimeter of the house are lightweight eave mouldings, sized 360mm x 200mm with parapet mouldings between the upper and lower floors, also around the full perimeter of the house. All the windows are finished with window architraves and window sills.

Decorative mouldings were also installed last week on a home in Loxley Court, East Doncaster. This is a major renovation on the two storey home, originally built in the 1960s/70s era, which has now been remodelled into a post-modern home. The Decorative mouldings chosen to achieve this look are eave mouldings, large parapet mouldings over the central porch front entrance, smaller parapet mouldings between the upper and lower storeys, window architraves for all the windows with matching window sills and quoinings.

A forty square modern home at Ruby Place, Donvale, consists of one storey with a basement that includes the garage. Under gutter mouldings, sized 70mm x 70mm and eave mouldings, sized 250mm x 210mm around the perimeter of the house, window architraves with matching sills on all windows and large flatband mouldings above the garage/ basement area, sized at 250mm x 25mm have been installed. Specially created for the entrance are flatband mouldings for planter boxes, which sit either side of the entrance. These measure 5 metres long x 1200mm high and are an integral part of the entrance.
