An existing post-modern home in Will Street, Kew of two storeys and fifty squares features three gables and has just had all the architectural decorative mouldings replaced. Due to their impeccable record in manufacturing and installing decorative mouldings that do not shrink, warp, bend or fall off, the Finishing Touch were commissioned to replace all the decorative mouldings. Large parapets with dentils have been installed at the top, around the full circumference of the house, underneath the eaves. The three large gables have even larger sized parapets with dentils. The dentils are 100mm x 100mm and wherever the dentils are used they are spaced 45mm apart, so as to stand out from the building. The large parapets measure 220mm x 270mm. These same decorative parapet mouldings were also installed (without the dentils) for two of the chimneys on the building.

Under gutter mouldings were also installed around the full parameter of the house. A fascia moulding was installed In the gap (measuring 100mm 100mm) between the gutter and the building; this fascia moulding measures 70mm x 70mm and now gives the impression of one single large moulding, whilst screening the guttering. Stringer mouldings have also been installed, running along the complete fascia of the building. Window sills and window architraves as well as mini parapets on top of the piers complete the large number of decorative mouldings replaced on this stunning property, bringing it back to its former glory. As well as supplying  lightweight, quality decorative mouldings on this large job the Finishing Touch also supplied twenty flatband mouldings for a modern home in Le Grange Mews in Keysborough. At another site in Pendle Street, Box Hill they supplied French provincial decorative mouldings for two units as well as French provincial parapet mouldings measuring 160mm x 150mm each. The units are stylishly finished with the addition of quoining mouldings on all corners as well as on three piers.

Decorative Mouldings Add A Stylish Finish

A post-modern house of 25 squares in Benwerrin Drive, Wantirna will be finished with quality decorative mouldings supplied by the Finishing Touch. These include eave parapet mouldings 200mm x 200mm and parapet mouldings with a similar look to the eave mouldings, 200mm x 200mm,  to be used as a decorative finish between the ground floor and first floor. The four front feature windows will be decorated with flatband mouldings, creating a façade around the windows. A project under development is for a post-modern forty square, two storeys house in Mt. Waverley. This build requires window architraves, window sills, keystones for the main front window façades, medium sized keystones over entrances, flatband mouldings across front arches on the front of the building with keystones, under gutter mouldings and quoining mouldings.  The number and placement of decorative mouldings will create a highly decorative, stylish façade to the house.

A property in Porter Street, Templestowe is being decorated with a large number of architectural mouldings. The builder has requested nine very large parapet mouldings measuring 360mm x 190mm x 3 metres long, which have been custom made to size. The house will also be finished with seventeen large parapets mouldings, measuring 270mm x 143mm x 3 metres long. Other decorative mouldings to adorn the house will be window sills, flatband architrave mouldings and chimney moulds. The column capitals are decorated with stringer mouldings and the column bases were especially designed and custom made, they measure 280mm x 280mm. The home will also be decorated with French Provincial parapets and French Provincial window architraves, with window sills to suit. The house has a big entrance with a large arched architrave, measuring 250mm x 250mm with 50mm rivets, spaced along the archway. The archway is further bedecked with a large decorative keystone.
