A substantial new, one hundred squares minimum, post-modern design, multi storey home overlooking the Yarra River sadly needs its current decorative mouldings replaced and restored.  Although a new home the original decorative mouldings were a substandard job, some were not completed, and others were installed incorrectly; they were not level and didn’t follow the construction lines of the house.  The joins are all visible with the mouldings not meeting and corners are broken with poor, patchy repairs. This unfortunate experience illustrates the need to use an experienced architectural mouldings provider who has the ability to competently and professionally install the mouldings. These days parapet mouldings have almost become standard inclusions in most new house builds.  The Finishing Touch are supplying parapet moulds to a small, single storey dwelling of twenty eight squares in Peronne Street, Pascoe Vale.

Columns Create A Grand Entrance in Lightweight Mouldings

Columns create a grand entrance to a home and a new house being built in Tuck Street, Cheltenham is about to become distinctive with three columns, each 3 metres tall, by 200mm in diameter. The Finishing Touch is manufacturing the lightweight column mouldings and supplying them directly to the Builder, who will be installing them himself.

A two storey, 55 square French Provincial home is nearing completion in Vidos Road, Greenvale.  The Finishing Touch are supplying the following house mouldings to create a decorative and stylish finish to the build –

These mouldings will be painted in the factory prior to installation, so once the mouldings are installed the house build will be complete.  Usually the mouldings are prepared for paint prior to installation and then painted after they are installed.

House mouldings were originally supplied by the Finishing Touch for a new house in Soderlund Drive, Doncaster.  Extra mouldings have now been manufactured that match the house mouldings, for the fence area.  Eight pier caps and sixty metres of wall capping on the walled fence will now be installed.

Two years ago house mouldings were supplied to a two storey home of fifty squares in Polo Parade, Caulfield North.  Now approximately thirty metres of new mouldings are being manufactured and installed around the pool area.  The decorative mouldings used for this area will be a combination of parapets 200mm x 200mm in size and stringer mouldings, each measuring 140mm x 140mm.
